I hope I didn't Jonah bamber. I did a Wikipedia check on him at 7 am on Monday . I remembered the young ones episode and wanted to see if he' was still alive . RIP BAMBI .

Reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated...
I got the nickname Bamber from a local nutter in my teens. He was famed locally for many violent acts not least chasing after a dog that bit him and biting it back. My brother and I passed him one day and all he knew of me was that I was brainy in school so he growled Bamber at me ( no doubt referencing the then host of University Challenge) and my brother thought it was hilarious so he has called me Bamber ever since
RIP the real Bamber.

I used to deliver shit to his lovely big house on Kew Green just the other side of the Kew bridge in the late 80s? Early 90s?
Always seemed a decent bloke to me, and that is all you really have to be to negotiate life, isn't it?
